This 5 Bank Battery Charger is another great industrial charger by ACI. Model 1230SBC is a totally automatic Switch-Mode Battery Charger.
The charger can determine what kind of battery your have, Gel, Sealed or Wet Lead-Acid and will switch automatically to charge the battery correctly.
This is a 12 volt 15 amp constant current in total charge which is equivalent to a 30 amp tapered charger in charging time.
This charger will also perform desulphation on the battery while chargering the battery. Sulphation is considered the number one cause of battery failure!
When a battery is improperly charged (over / under) or allowed to self discharge as occurs
during storage / non - use, sulphation builds up on the battery's plates preventing it from being fully charged and therefore not able to deliver their full power / capacity.
Some features of the 5 Bank Charger are:
Removes existing sulphation, a sulphation that normally occurs during charging, storage and non - use modes.
Protects against: Polarity Reversal, Short Circuit, Over-Temperature.
